Help Pius X Claim Matching & Bonus Funds
and Renovate Our 56-year-old Chemistry Labs!
Your
support on May 17th through Give To Lincoln Day is
needed as Pius X High School is renovating our
chemistry labs and classrooms. At
this time, an additional $50,000 is needed to begin phase
1 of a three year renovation.
The
current facilities are in poor condition, having not
been renovated since the school opened its doors more
than 56
years ago. The chemistry lab improvements will accommodate
the growing number of students taking chemistry (partially
due to increased state science requirements), and meet
needs related to space, safety, and curriculum goals. Check
out more information about the renovation and the need
for a new chemistry lab!
On
May 17th (from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59
p.m.),
thousands of people will show their
support for their
favorite
nonprofit organizations
in Lincoln during Give To Lincoln Day.
Your donation on May 17th will help
us
claim a share of a $200,000
challenge match pool of funds and
possibly qualify for a bonus grant (up to $2,500
to the top 3 nonprofits
with
the largest number of donors).
We ask
for your consideration in helping us with three things:
-
-
-
Help
us spread the word! Forward this information
to your family and friends along with a personal
note about your
belief in Catholic education and Pius X
High School and tell them why they should give to Pius
X's chemistry lab project on Give
To Lincoln Day on May 17th.
Your
tax-deductible donation of any
size - $10 or $1,000 - is very generous and needed. Your
gift to our chemistry lab renovation will impact students and
their education for many years to come. Your gift will
be increased through the matching challenge funds and
possibly
help us receive one of the bonus grants for the largest
number of donors as well. We can’t
wait to celebrate the difference your generosity will
make
on May
17th.
