The Annual Appeal is a fundraising effort conducted to meet the operating needs of the school, which are not covered by tuition.

Tuition, fees and parish assessments pay a portion of the
actual cost of educating each student. A “gap” of $1,135 exists
between the actual cost of educating a Pius X student ($4,887)
and what we receive in tuition (average of $1,562 per student)
and parish assessments ($2,190 per student). Generosity by
many Pius X supporters on an annual basis has provided funds
to fill that gap, keep tuition costs more affordable, provide
scholarships for those in financial need and cover the operating
costs throughout the year.

Each year 5 percent of the net value of the endowment fund is transferred to our high school to help fund the operating budget that sustains 93 staff members and over 1,000 students. Income from this fund helps to maintain affordable tuition so that all students can benefit from a Catholic, faith filled education. In addition, funds raised through this effort provide financial assistance to students in need, ongoing faculty support and enhancements to our excellent academic and spiritual programs.
