How Fund-It Works... Fund-It is an opportunity for you to help Pius X High School fulfill our mission of providing a total education that is Christ-centered by integrating Catholic values in all areas of life and providing academic preparation of the highest quality in a disciplined environment. Pius X prides itself on having one of the lowest tuition rates in the country, and no student is ever turned away due to financial need. Fund-It begins with a Pius X teacher or staff member requesting a student resource, classroom product, or service not covered by the traditional school budget. He/she submits a proposal to explain the project or item, along with a budget. The Pius X principal and development director then work together to verify the proposal, confirm the need, and approve the budget. All proposals are reviewed to ensure that each fulfills the mission and goals of our school. Both the Foundation and High School work diligently to ensure sound fiscal responsibility of your stewardship. Potential donors to Fund-It are then able to browse the list of approved grant proposals and make tax-deductible contributions that fully or partially fund a proposal. An acknowledgment from the teacher or staff member is sent to every donor, and the Pius X Foundation provides a receipt to the donor for tax purposes. Your generosity in supporting Fund-It proposals provides valuable assistance in our quest to maintain low, affordable tuition for all of our students and their families. Please keep in mind that 100% of your contributions are used to fund the proposal(s) you choose and to support this important program. For each donation received, seven percent is returned to the Pius X Foundation to cover administrative costs, including website management, donor appreciation, and staff support. The enhanced educational experiences funded through this program are made possible through these private contributions. Thank you for your support of Pius X High School.
